Wellhead Remote Control Station / Wellhead Control Panel (WHCP)
The Wellhead Remote Control Station is a modular control and safety unit designed to ensure the control and safe operation of wellhead equipment for oil and gas wells. It provides remote or local control, real-time monitoring, automatic safety shutdown, and management of wellhead valves and surface / sub-surface safety equipment.

Key Functions
Wellhead Valve Control
Controls the opening and closing of surface safety valves (SSV), sub-surface safety valves (SCSSV), master valves, choke valves, etc.
Emergency Shutdown (ESD) & Safety Functions
Monitors pressure, flow, and other parameters; triggers automatic shut-down or valve closure in abnormal or hazardous situations (e.g., well blowout risk, flowline leaks, overpressure).
Remote & Local Operation / Monitoring
Offers both manual local control and remote operation/monitoring via SCADA / PLC / RTU — suitable for manned or unmanned fields.
Multi-Well Use & Modular Design
Can be configured for a single well or multiple wells (cluster/platform); modular design ensures easy maintenance and scalability.
Hydraulic / Pneumatic / Electro-hydraulic Options
Supports hydraulic, pneumatic, or hybrid electro-hydraulic actuation systems depending on project requirements and well conditions.
Typical Application Areas
- Single or multi-well offshore / onshore oil & gas production fields
- Fields requiring remote monitoring/control where human access is difficult
- Well intervention, maintenance, and emergency shutdown operations
Benefits
- Safe and reliable control of wellhead operations — increased safety for personnel, environment, and assets
- Remote & automated operation — reduces the need for permanent on-site personnel; ideal for remote or difficult-to-access wells
- Fast, modular installation — scalability for single or multi-well systems
- Integration with modern control systems (SCADA / PLC / RTU) — enabling data acquisition, real-time monitoring, and remote diagnostics
